The following are the Ghecko Safaris consultants favourite attractions in Cape Town:
Table Mountain
Table Mountain is the icon most associated with cape Town and its powerful presence reverberates through every aspect of Capetonians life. Where you walk up it or take the cable car, phone ahead to check weather conditions as the station won’t open in bad weather and be sure to take warm clothing as the summit can be chilly even on summer days.
Victoria and Alfred Waterfront
We love the vibey atmosphere of the V& A Waterfront. Visit the shops, craft markets and restaurants while you are entertained by street performers, mime artists and choirs. The Waterfront is open until late at night enabling you to enjoy a full day of site seeing and then spend the evening at the Waterfront.
Cape Winelands
Arguably the most beautiful winelands in the world, the Cape is also producing internationally recognized wines. No trip to Cape Town would be complete without visiting the Winelands. The wines, people, destinations and experience are world class and shouldn’t be missed out on.
