CAPE TOWN - "THE MOTHER CITY"

Cape Town is the ideal city to start or end your golf holiday. We only recommend a few golf courses in the area as from experience we believe that our clients will spend more time exploring Cape Town than playing golf! Some of the best golf courses we would recommend in the Cape Town area are Westlake, Steenberg and Clovelly. We are not limited to these so ask us for more information on other golf options in Cape Town

ACTIVITIES IN THE AREA

Table Mountain
V&A Waterfront
Great Restaurants
Great Beaches
Championship golf
Kirstenbosch Gardens

CHOOSING A HOTEL

Most guests would prefer hotels in or close to the V&A Waterfront. Of course these hotels can sometimes be more expensive than hotels situated in the city bowl, or other areas close to the city.

GOLF IN CAPE TOWN

Of course we can offer you a unique golf experience in the heart of Cape Town at the Metropolitan Golf Course overlooking Table Mountain and the newly built Cape Town Stadium staring you in the face, but we also suggest some other good golf options a short distance from the city centre.

HOW LONG TO STAY

We would suggest at least a 4 night stay when visiting Cape Town. This will give your client enough time for shopping, a tour around Cape Point, a round of golf maybe and plenty restaurants and bars to choose from!

GENERAL INFORMATION ON CAPE TOWN

Cape Town lies in the heart of the Cape Peninsula, a modern and cosmopolitan metropolis. 54 km stretch of scenic land that ends quite dramatically in the towering headland known as Cape Point. The near-perfect Mediterranean climate complimented by gentle landscapes and spectacular beaches. All this combined makes Cape Town the Riviera of Africa. The city is the country’s oldest and fourth largest urban centre, and the population of greater Cape Town totals almost four million. Table Mountain is as welcoming today, as it was all those years ago, a landmark that provides the background to this vibrant, metropolitan city. The “Mother City” has a unique position in South Africa’s history which may be explored in a number of fascinating museums and historical buildings reflecting the many cultures that make up its being.

Cape Town is a city of many cultures, restaurants, bars, Table Mountain, beaches, nightlife.....and so much more! It my personal opinion that your clients spend some extra time in Cape Town to experience what this city has to offer - they would want to stay longer!!!
