THE SABI SAND is the most successful and private reserve in South Africa. The Sabi Sand is a series of private game reserves that sit adjacent and on the Western Boundary of South Africa’s Kruger National Park. There are no fences between the Kruger National Park and the Sabi Sand and therefore the wildlife is able to move freely between the two areas. The Sabi Sand is regarded by most people to be the premier destination in South Africa for game viewing.
Due to the fact that the reserves are privately owned, unlike many reserves throughout Africa your Ranger is able to drive ‘ off road ‘ and this enables you to get up close and personal to the wildlife. Secondly because the reserves are privately owned you are not governed by state law and therefore you are able to drive at night. At night you are able to view the Big Five and in particular the Lions and Leopards as they hunt.
