Victoria Falls in Zambia or ‘Livingstone’ as it is officially known, or Mosi oa Tunya as it is locally known is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Southern Africa and quite frankly its no surprise ! Victoria Falls are a spectacular sight of awe inspiring beauty and grandeur on the Zambezi River bordering Zambia and Zimbabwe. The columns of spray can be seen miles away as up to 550 million cubic metres of water plummet over the edge. The Waterfall is 2 kilometres wide in parts and the gorge is over 100 deep. The wide basalt cliff , over which the falls thunder transforms the Zambezi from a wide placid river to ferocious torrent cutting through a series of dramatic gorges. Its here that the adventures begin! Brows the map by clicking on the lodge of your choice to view
