THE
GARDEN ROUTE - George - Knysna - Pletenberg Bay

The
Garden Route is one of the most visited parts
of South Africa. This beautiful stretch of coastline starts
at the town of Mossel Bay and continues for 200 km to the end
of the Tstisikamma Forest. Here you will pass
through the town of George, Wilderness, Sedgefield,
Knysna and Plettenberg Bay.
The Knysna-Tsitsikamma region has the country's
biggest indigenous forests. This is a fairyland of age-old forest
giants, ferns and colourful bird life. Products of the forests
include furniture made from the indigenous yellowwood, stinkwood
and white pear, and these are sought-after pieces.
