Day 1: Victoria Falls
On arrival at Johannesburg Airport you will be met by a representative from Ghecko Safaris who will welcome you to South Africa and assist you with your luggage, present you with your travel documentation, and help you to check for your flight to Livingstone.
On arrival at Livingstone you will be met by another representative from Ghecko Safaris who will transfer you to the Royal Livingstone Hotel. Located on the banks of the Zambezi River we believe that the Royal Livingstone has one of the most fantastic locations of any hotel in Livingstone.
Livingstone is the adventure Capital of Southern Africa, and during your stay at Victoria Falls you can opt to enjoy a variety of activities including Elephant Back Safaris, Canoe Safaris, Bungee Jumping, Helicopter Flips, and White Water Rafting. These are not included in your package price, however speak to your Ghecko Safaris consultant about tailor-making your package to include these additional activities.
You will spend a total of 2 nights at the Royal Livingstone Hotel.

Day 3 : Chobe National Park
This morning you will enjoy a final morning at Victoria Falls Livingstone before being checking out and being transferred by road to Chobe Game Lodge in the Chobe National Park. Here you will be welcomed by a member of management and orientated to the camp and the day to activities. Chobe Game Lodge is the only permanent camp lodge inside the Chobe National Park and has a commanding position next to the Chobe River. The Chobe National Park is most famous for its exceptional elephant sightings and buffalo sightings and nothing beats the experience of watching from a river cruise as these mighty animals come down the river to drink. Your 2 night stay at Chobe Game Lodge includes 4 game activities and because the latter part of your Southern African Epic Safari is spent in the Kruger National Park we suggest that you spend as much time as possible on the water, as we believe this is the best possible way to appreciate Chobe. Sunsets and sunrises from the river are spectacular and offer amazing photographic opportunities.

Day 5 : Cape Town
Sadly this morning marks your last day on safari at Chobe. Bid farewell to this watery paradise before being transferred by road to Livingstone Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival at Johannesburg Airport you will transfer across to your flight to Cape Town. On arrival at Cape Town you will collect your hire car and self drive to the Cape Grace Hotel. Where you will spend the next 5 nights. The Cape Grace makes the perfect destination from where to explore Cape Town. This trip is a self drive trip, however should you wish to enjoy the services of a guide and vehicle, speak to your Ghecko Safaris guide about tailormaking the trip for you. Perhaps take a trip to Cape Point to visit the Penguins, and the famous Cape Peninsula. Why not take the Cable Car up Table Mountain, or visit the historic Robben Island? We recommend you drive to the Cape Winelands and explore the beautiful towns of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl – the centre of South Africa’s wine industry, and home to many spectacular and interesting wine estates. Spend a lazy afternoon relaxing under the shady trees of Kirstenbosch Botantical Garden , or simply sunbathing on one of Cape Town prestigious beaches of Camps Bay, Clifton or Llandudno. The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront has many shops , craft markets, restaurants and bistros to enjoy and staying at the Cape Grace means that you have safe and easy access to the this world class facility.

Day 10 : Exeter River Lodge
This morning you will depart from the Cape Grace and self drive to Cape Town Airport. On arrival at Cape Town Airport you will check in for your flight to Kruger Mpumalanga. On arrival at Kruger Mpumalanga Airport you will be met by a representative and transferred by light aircraft to Exeter River Lodge.
On arrival at the lodge airstrip you will be welcomed by your ranger and transferred the short distance to the lodge. A member of management will welcome you on arrival and orientate you to the camp. Lunch is served on arrival. Exeter River Lodge is located in the heart of the Sabi Sands and makes the perfect Big Five Safari destination. Rangers at Exeter River Lodge are reknown for being particularly well trained and knowledgeable, concentrating not only on the big animals but with an enviable knowledge of the smaller things too. The Sabi Sands is the best place in the world to see Leopards and we almost guarantee this will be the highlight of your stay. Open vehicles, off road driving, night drives and trackers ensure you of the ultimate photographic opportunities, and no surprise that it is lauded as South Africa’s premier game reserve. You will have a total of 3 nights on safari at Exeter River Lodge giving you a total of 6 game drives.

Today you will enjoy a final morning on safari before checking out and transferring to the airstrip for your flight to Johannesburg. There are two daily flights, ensuring that you arrive in Johannesburg in time for your onward travel arrangements.
