Day 1 : Exeter Leadwood / Sabi Sand
On arrival at Exeter Leadwood Lodge you will be welcomed by a member of the management and orientated to the camp. They will explain the day to day activities. Lunch or high tea is usually served on arrival.
Exeter Leadwood Lodge is situated in the western sector of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. This reserve is famous of being home to the Big Five ( Rhino , Elephant, Buffalo, Lion and Leopard ) – however the reserve is especially noted for its fantastic sightings of Leopards and the reserve is commonly regarded as the best place in the world to see these animals in their natural habitat. You will enjoy game drives in the company of experienced and knowledgeable rangers and trackers, who will ensure that night game drives, open vehicles, off road driving and bush walks - get you up close and personal to the wildlife. Exeter River Lodge is a photographers paradise, and you will be sure to leave having had some very memorable photographic opportunities. You will have a total of 8 game drives at Exeter Lodge during your 4 night stay at the lodge.
