    The Okavango Delta is a very popular safari destination. More commonly referred to at "The Pan Handle", the Delta has its origin in the Angolan highlands, where after it spills out into Botswana to create this African Wildlife Haven!
    There are two main camp differences when travelling to the Okavango Delta namely water or land based camps. Your Okavango Delta consultant will discuss these options with you when enquiring.

    How to get to the Delta
    When planning a safari to the Okavango Delta, we will always include all transport, weather by road or air to the camps we suggest in your itinerary. Majority of the camps in the Okavango Delta is only accessible by light aircraft. This information will be stipulated in your itinerary

    What to wear in the Delta
    We suggest you pack something warm and light when planning your safari to the Delta. Remember, your luggage allowance is limited on the flights so pack wisely.

    - Comfortable pants
    - Comfortable shoes (walking)
    - Warm jacket for the cold
    - Lights scarf and gloves
    - denim and other clothes

    Remember it can be cool in the mornings and cold at night. Try not to wear bright colours when on safari.
